Summary of responsibilities:
The Coordinator, Information ManagementCoordinator, Information Management is responsible for providing day-to-day delivery and support of Information Management (IM) services, ensuring quality, control, and efficiency of corporate and operational information. The Coordinator, Information ManagementCoordinator, Information Management performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Successful completion of college diploma in Records/Information Management or a combination of education, training and work experience relevant to the position.
- A minimum of two (2) years related work experience in records and information management providing front-line client services.
- Demonstrated experience with Information Management technology solutions, specifically enterprise content management systems.
- Excellent knowledge of records and information management principles and practices.
- Experience working in a records management environment including at least one of the following:
o The development/implementation and assessment/evaluation of file classification systems.
o The interpretation and application of retention and disposition programs.
o The interpretation and application of IM/RM legislation and regulations.
o The development and implementation of information/record related projects including improvement projects at the corporate and work unit level;
- Experience in the administration of EDRMS, including the development and implementation of customized reports.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint, especially with regard to its document management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience planning and facilitating meetings, presentations, training sessions and workshops.
- Experience preparing recommendations to management.
- Experience providing information and support to individuals and work units.
- Experience analyzing, classifying, coding, indexing and cross-referencing subject content of documents.

- High degree of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology.
- In-depth knowledge of related sections of the Library and Archives Canada Act, Copyright Act, National Library Act, Official Languages Act, and sections of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.
- Knowledge and experience with creating forms using Adobe.
- Training and/or experience with workflow analysis and design in the context of recordkeeping or information flows is an asset.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
