Project Managers are expected to put in at least 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 24 hours.
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, the Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, organizing, and directing operations related to ongoing projects and its processes in the Operations Group. The Project Manager takes the initiative to identify opportunities, address performance/process gaps, and track risks, issues, and assumptions. The Project Manager is responsible for implementing and executing control processes and documenting changes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
- Day-to-day management of resources and tasks, organizing and leading/attending meetings, implementing monitor and control activities.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
- Develop a detailed project plan and project artifacts (e.g., project log, schedule, status reports, etc.) to track progress.
- Create and maintain project management templates as necessary.
- Coordinate and deliver project management workshops and other training opportunities to managers and product owners as approved.
- Track work activities and project statuses of ongoing projects.
- Attend regular meetings as necessary.
- Provide project support to the associate director and/or director.
- Be willing to attend virtual meetings in the EST timezone (GMT -4:00) and respond to emails and online messages within 36 hours.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education
- A minimum of a 2-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in business administration, communication, project management, or similar; equivalencies of education and experience may also be considered.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in project management.
- Comfortable learning and using a variety of technical solutions to complete project deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle.
- Experience using Google product applications or GSuite.
Preferred
- CAPM, PMP, or its equivalent.
- Familiar with education, content development, and research projects.
- Familiar with research methodologies and technical writing.
- Experience in coordinating research projects or similar.
