Summary of responsibilities:
The Senior Advisor, Cloud Administration is responsible for designing and architecting future solutions, encompassing both hardware and software components. This role works closely with IT Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts and business owners to lead the creation of the innovation roadmap and contribute to the broader IT Strategic Plan. The Senior Advisor, Cloud Administration leverages a broad range of skills to analyze ideas and challenges, transforming them into actionable solutions. The position is a strategic role that spans across the Product, Support, Security Infrastructure functions. While continually monitoring cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. The Senior, Advisor, Cloud Administration performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
• A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in technical roles demonstrating increasing levels of innovation, leadership and strategic thinking, with a minimum of 3 years in positions such as Cloud Architect, Cloud Administrator, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science, or a related field. similar degree
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud computing solutions, specifically in Microsoft Azure
• Proven expertise in industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing.
• In-Dep understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and principles.
• Proficient in PowerShell, with knowledge of JSON and XML for configuration files
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly dissect information and solve complex problems.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Quick to adapt and learn new technologies, third-party products and tools.
• Fully proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office productivity tools.

• In-dept knowledge of complex computer hardware, data centers, data management and software environments
• Extensive understanding of complex cloud Architecture and their implementation.
• Broad understanding of IT security considerations and their impact on business operations.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies, including hardware platforms, storage, network resources and their role in modern solutions.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and database technologies
