DHL Express currently has an opening for an National Manager eCommerce and Digital Platforms in our National Office in Brampton, ON.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Initiate and maintain scheduled contact with assigned customers and digital platform partners at multiple levels, acting as the primary liaison between customers and company resources.
- Engage with new and existing digital platforms on pricing, marketing, and sales initiatives to drive business growth while informing and selling new products, programs, and services.
- Maintain comprehensive profiles of customers and digital partners to ensure up-to-date insights and strategic engagement.
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews to management, providing insights on digital platform performance, competitive activity, and overall national eCommerce growth.
- Host and lead the monthly eCommerce Council call, ensuring strategic alignment, holding council members accountable for results, and fostering collaboration.
- Coach and mentor sales team members on strategies for selling in an eCommerce-driven market.
- Plan and host webinars and roundtable discussions with eCommerce customers to explore market expansion opportunities and address perceived barriers to entry.
- Participate in regular calls with the regional Head of Digital Platforms and Regional Digital Platforms team to stay informed on key initiatives and contribute to strategy development.
- Track and report sales performance, ensuring accuracy in reporting revenue, customer margins, volumes, and compliance with company standards.
- Update management on competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to refine eCommerce strategies.
- Achieve established sales revenue quotas while ensuring strong performance and growth across all assigned customers and digital platforms.
- Communicate DHL’s GoGreen+ sustainability offering to customers/partners and achieve established GoGreen targets.
- Collaborate with the CFIT team to enhance and further develop the DEC app.
Do you have what it takes?
- 5+ years of sales experience in logistics, eCommerce and digital sales.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, online sales strategies, and eCommerce verticals.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with regional and global stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience leading webinars and discussions.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights for business growth.
- Experience coaching and mentoring sales reps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop market expansion strategies.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments and international teams.
- Demonstrated drive, persistence, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
