In this role you will: Assist Coordinators with scheduling of client assessments for seniors seeking assistance from the Seniors' Transportation, Meals on Wheels and Friendly Visiting programs. Phone call and in home service participant's assessment and eligibility criteria evaluations to assess service participant's situation and to determine the types of services required/needed. Assist with the matching of volunteers and vehicles to service participants based on availability and geographical pickup and destination locations. Assist Coordinators with creating routes for volunteer to deliver meals to service participants. Assist Coordinators with the distribution of policies and Occupational Health and Safety information to volunteers and workers. What we are looking for: Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook). Organizational skills and the ability to understand detailed information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving problems. Fluency in English is required, French is an asset. Working conditions: Be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment. Have a valid Social Insurance Number.
