Be part of our national valuation team and help mitigate credit risk by estimating security values for large, complex agricultural, commercial and industrial properties. You’ll work closely with partners from FCC lending, loan administration and special credit teams.What you’ll do:
- Appraise agricultural, commercial and industrial real and personal properties
- Develop strategies for specific appraisal situations
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including appraisal professionals
- Develop and update valuation processes
- Provide formal valuation training and coaching to colleagues
- Conduct market research and analysis on sales for the Farmland Values Report and Valuation Guides

What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance or commerce and at least four years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Professional appraisal designation
- Experience performing complex commercial and agricultural property appraisals
- Knowledge of environmental issues and trends
- Understanding of leading-edge technologies
- In-depth knowledge of appraisal principles and theories
- Advanced oral communication skills in both official languages (English and French).
