POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available
SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair, Red River College Polytechnic is looking for an Instructor for Business Administration. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, supervision and guidance of students, student evaluation, advising of students, maintenance of student records and other professional duties related to instruction. Examples of subject areas are Client Relationships, Professional Selling, Marketing Foundations, Integrated Marketing Communications. The incumbent is also required to participate in department and College committees and assist in student orientation and graduation activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business or related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Significant and progressive experience in Sales and/or Marketing
- Demonstrated experience and success managing client relationships, preferably in business-to-business sales
- Proficient in the use of Client Relationship Management software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate posititive outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
- Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education
- Professional Certification (Certified Professional Sales designation or similar)
- Experience instructing in a post-secondary institution
- Experience developing and instructing distance delivered courses including online
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver blended (synchronous and asynchronous) instruction
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
