Full Time Early Intervention Therapist (EIT)
Our Early Intervention Program requires enthusiastic and motivated Early Intervention Therapists to join our team!
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing direct support to preschool aged children within the SASS classrooms, possible integrated environments, and in the child and family’s home. Transporting children daily with the use of a personal vehicle to/from classrooms/school and the child’s home is a requirement (car seats and training provided).
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, exceptional time management skills, enjoy working with children, be able to work within a multidisciplinary team and be familiar with Society for Autism Support and Services’ philosophy of care.
Requirements:
- Use of personal vehicle: transportation of children required
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Clear Police and Child Welfare Checks
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Status
COVID-19 Measures:
- PPE provided
- Daily Health Assessments
- Enhanced Cleaning
- Classroom Cohorts
Qualifications:
- Diploma (min 2 years) or B.A. in Psychology or related discipline
- Experience working with children an asset
