Instructor (Term Full-Time)
Electronic Engineering Technology
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated September 2024 up to June 2025)
SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair of Electronic Engineering Technology, the instructor is required to prepare course materials, labs and examinations, modify and develop curriculum and RPL modules and instruct the approved curriculum.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in electronic technology, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Significant industry experience in electronic engineering technology or a related field of work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Effective analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook and other computer applications related to the industry
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or P.Eng. designation in the Province of Manitoba
- Recent experience teaching in an engineering technology program or equivalent
- Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design
- Experience with printed circuit board layout
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- M-Class license
- Experience in curriculum and/or program development
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
