DHL Express has an opening for a Senior Manager- Total Rewards & Systems in our National Office in Brampton, ON. This role leads compensation and benefits programs aligned with DPDHL’s rewards strategy, acting as a subject matter expert on compensation practices such as market pricing, job evaluations, and pay compliance. It develops salary budgets and partners with senior leaders to implement initiatives that attract and retain top talent. The position also manages wellness initiatives and the relocation process for Canada, ensures accurate HRIS data compliance, and oversees employment equity reporting in accordance with Canadian employment legislation.
Additionally, this role drives HR effectiveness and digitalization, focusing on continuous improvement and automation of HR processes. It collaborates across business functions to enhance efficiency, supports the development of HR data visualizations, and emphasizes the use of analytics for informed decision-making. It also oversees payroll process implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and local legislation.

Compensation & Benefits
·Design and optimize compensation and benefits programs aligned with DPDHL's strategy.
·Execute global Total Rewards Programs, including base pay, bonuses, and benefits, to meet business needs and culture.
·Analyze and develop competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent.
·Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, consulting with legal resources as needed.
·Conduct job evaluations and salary analyses for internal equity and market competitiveness.
·Collaborate with leadership to enhance retention and succession planning.
·Guide the Compensation team and HR partners through key compensation activities and annual cycles.
·Lead benchmarking efforts to assess market data and industry trends.
·Advise HR Senior Leadership on compensation-related programs and needs.
·Support internal customers on compensation policies and implications.
·Conduct audits of compensation transactions to ensure compliance and report findings.
·Provide analyses and insights for decision-making, including compensation dashboards.
·Manage communication and education on program objectives across the organization.
·Oversee consultants for compensation initiatives and support Labor Relations from a compensation perspective.
·Lead a team of compensation analysts, providing training and development.
·Manage ad-hoc projects and collaborate with Regional/Global C&B teams.
Process Improvement and Analytics:
·Drive HR digitalization initiatives and develop key HR metrics and analytics dashboards.
·Oversee the preparation of monthly HR metrics reports and other reporting needs.
·Provide expert advice and training on data usage and interpretation to functional teams.
·Support local HR Business Partners in validating and reviewing data analytics.
·Lead large-scale programs and performance projects across multiple HR areas.
·Manage process improvement and automation projects from inception to completion.
·Develop mechanisms to monitor HR effectiveness and performance, identifying trends and making recommendations.
·Collaborate with HR functions to enhance data management and analytics.
·Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of reports and scorecards.
·Maintain knowledge of global and local HR systems and processes for efficiency improvements.
·Liaise with key partners and Regional/Global HR as needed.
HRIS Responsibility:
·Maintain and improve HR information systems, ensuring data quality and efficient operation.
·Generate reports by manipulating Excel data from various sources.
·Provide HR-related employee services, such as employment confirmations and file requests.
·Offer technical support and guidance to the HRIS team and other HR staff.
·Collaborate with leadership to enhance information services and databases.
·Serve as the primary liaison for HR database projects between local HR, Regional/Global HR, and external vendors.
·Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
·Manage user permissions and access for HRIS.
·Act as a subject matter expert for e-HR and integrated systems (e.g., PIAM, ADP WorkforceNow, UKG Workforce Dimensions).
·Oversee HRIS system maintenance and digitalization initiatives.
·Manage the mobility and relocation process, coordinating with immigration counsel and stakeholders.
Payroll Administration:
·Oversee implementation of payroll processes and timelines considering internal/external best practices, local legislation and alignment requirements.
·Monitor and control implementation of the payroll process.
·Gather inputs, review reports and feedback to identify patterns of errors and scope for improvements of payroll processes.
·Oversee and guide activities of a team of professionals and business support roles for payroll execution.
Do you have what it takes?
·Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
·Professional certification in specific areas required.
·Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
·Knowledge of conflict management and problem-solving.
·Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
·Ability to balance priorities and develop collaborative strategies.
·Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
·Proven track record of interaction with senior executives (CEO, CFO).
·Experience with SAP, HRIS, data analysis, and project management.
·6+ years of HRIS experience at senior management level in complex environments.
·5+ years of experience in coaching and leading teams.
·Ability to adapt to changing environments and innovate compensation plans.
·Solid experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, particularly in survey design and statistical modeling.
·Expertise in compensation, benefits, and rewards functions.
·Knowledge of incentive and recognition-based compensation programs.
·Experience in preparing and presenting reports for boards and committees.
·Viewed as an expert in the field, addressing cross-cultural issues.
