Develop strategic partnerships that will enhance FCC’s ability to serve Canada’s agriculture producers, agribusiness operators and agri-food entrepreneurs.
What you’ll do:
- Build and manage relationships with influencers in the agriculture industry and key government departments
- Contribute sector-specific and industry information in support of the corporate strategic planning process
- Lead the FCC visitation program for members of parliament
- Coach and mentor colleagues on building relationships within the industry and government

- Strategic thinker who can translate observations into insights and forward-looking recommendations
What you'll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in agricultural finance, business or commerce and at least five years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); extensive agricultural industry knowledge supplemented by knowledge of FCC’s lending and non-lending products and services is an asset
- Expertise in stakeholder relations, analysis of the agriculture industry, and the processes and policies of government and parliament
- Intuitive understanding of political factors, key issues, risks and opportunities in the agriculture industry
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels of a wide variety of organizations and associations, including government
