Are you passionate about optimizing content for better user experiences? We are looking for a Content Management Specialist to become a key player in our Content Intelligence team! In this role, you’ll lead exciting projects and initiatives, driving the analysis and organization of content while enhancing our community and security models.
What You’ll Do:
- Client-Focused Solutions: Analyze client requirements and develop tailored content solutions that meet their needs.
- Project Leadership: Spearhead projects specializing in content management and automation using cutting-edge tools and technologies.
- Content Organization: Create logical structures to visualize and optimize content for maximum usability.
- Effective Communication: Collaborate with clients, partners, and team members to enhance the overall user experience.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate sessions to gather functional requirements and document your findings clearly.
- Metadata Analysis: Analyze document content and metadata to ensure optimal organization and retrieval.
- Taxonomy Development: Design effective taxonomies and solutions that support content categorization.
- Testing and Training: Prepare and execute functional test plans, and deliver comprehensive training to users.
- Process Documentation: Develop clear documentation for clients, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
- Functional Support: Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, ensuring their content management needs are met.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance content management processes and system functionality.
- Stay Ahead: Monitor emerging trends and guidelines in content management technologies to keep our practices current.

What the role requires:
- University or college graduate in information management or related discipline with minimum three (3) years experience in electronic information management, specifically content management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with enterprise content management software, preferably the Microsoft Office 365 platform.
Skills/Abilities:
- Detail orientated, practical problem-solving abilities, ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions.
- Strong analytical skills needed to document requirements related to content, metadata and function.
- Strong communication skills. (both written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster partnerships with clients and technical team.
- Able to identify opportunities for process improvements within the working environment.
- Maintains a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. Proven ability to conceptualize and design products that are aligned with future trends and needs.
Nice to have:
- AIIM CIP certification is considered an asset

Work Location: In this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you'll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs at the 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton. The frequency and location of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.
