Status: Contract Full-Time; Duration: 15 months
Salary Range: $110,870 - $138,589 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Who we are: In collaboration with our partners, we provide a system perspective and specialized supports to achieve Regional and Health Services priorities and health program outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, tools & technology enhancements, communication practices and enhanced coordination with other areas of Health Services
- Actively participate in the preparation of business cases to support strategic divisional and departmental plans
- Ensure plans and recommendations are implemented, monitored and evaluated to ensure follow through and objectives are realized
- Responsible for all key initiative documentation
- Responsible for advancing all phases of the initiative and preparation of engagement and change management plans
- Provides advice, regular reporting and discusses approaches directly with the Commissioner of Health Services, Council, Director(s), Steering Committees, CDMS and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Initiates and leads committees consisting of various levels of staff to inform functional improvements
- Plans, consults and conducts functional and business analysis with key stakeholders
- Anticipates impact and assesses risks that may influence clients and provides guidance and recommendations
- Manages a complex portfolio with the ability to balance competing interests and priorities across the Health Services department
What the role requires:
- Masters degree in Health related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Health Services sector
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Extensive knowledge of performance measurement and evaluation; quality and process improvement project and portfolio management,
- Extensive knowledge in change management, strategy development and execution
- Working knowledge of the legislation that supports Health Services delivery in Parademics Services, Long Term Care, Public Health, and Seniors Services Development
- Knowledge of Health Services systems and the ability to apply systems thinking
Skills/Abilities:
- Research and analytical skills to gather, analyze and synthesize data and develop recommendations
- Strong understanding of and ability to apply evidence based decision making
- Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, facilitation and mentoring skills
- Ability to monitor and influence budgets
- Proven presentation skills including the ability to present to various audiences both internal and external to Peel
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

Work Mode & Job Location: In this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you'll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs at the 7120 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario.
