Salary: $17.30 to $30.20/hourly rate dependent on level of education.

About the job:
The Graphic Designer and Video Editor student will support the Communications team by planning and producing various graphic designs, videos and illustrations for the organizations digital channels.
Main duties:
·Assist the Communications team with digital media design development (website, intranet and social media channels).
·Work with the Advisor, Comunications and Video Production on a variety of video needs, including the development of video story boards, concepts, recording and editorial needs for final broadcasting.
·Liaise with print vendors for a variety of print materials.
·Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
To qualify for the position, you must have:
·Enrolled in a college diploma or a university degree program in graphic design, interactive multimedia and design, communications, advertising or a related field.
Skills and abilities:
·Advanced abilities with Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro);
·Creative ability — storytelling, willingness to innovate;
·Professional approach to work;
·Excellent team player;
·Ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and organize work efficiently;
·Experience in video editing and recording is an asset.
To qualify and to be considered for this employment, you must:
·Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
·Be eligible to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance;
·Be a full-time or part-time CEGEP, College or University student; and
·Be returning to full-time or part-time studies in the next academic year.
