Number of Positions: 1
Term: January 13th, 2025 to April 25th, 2025
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Ottawa, HQ (Hybrid)
Salary range: $17.30 to $30.20/hourly rate dependent on level of education
Language requirement: English Essential
*Eligibility List: CATSA will use this opportunity to establish a list of candidates eligible to fill subsequent vacancies. The eligibility list may be used to staff other student positions with similar responsibilities and qualifications.
Summary of Responsibilities:
·Compile supporting documentation for CATSA capital invoices, including available for use dates, site location, capital asset class, etc;
·Data entry in the capital asset financial accounting system – Great Plains;
·Analyze data and update reports for the Asset Management/ External Reporting team;
·Assist in record keeping and data integrity maintenance for the Capital Asset Subledger;
·Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
What you need to succeed:
To qualify for the position, you must have:
·Enrolled in a college diploma or a university degree in accounting or business related field;
·Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point);
·Experience working in a finance environment and/or with accounts payable processes would be considered an asset; and
·Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains would be considered an asset.

To qualify and to be considered for this employment, you must:
·Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
·Be eligible to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance;
·Be a full-time or part-time CEGEP, College or University student; and
·Be returning to full-time or part-time studies in the next academic year.
