Receptionist – Downtown Montreal (Neurodivergent Candidates)
Location: On-site at the head office of a large international beauty/fashion company located in downtown Montreal, near a metro station.
Work schedule: On-site, 5 days/week (40h, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.). Lunch break presence required (paid).
Salary: $22.50–$27.50/hour – $45–60K/year, depending on experience.

Job Summary
The receptionist/ employee services agent plays an essential role in the daily management of reception, access security, and smooth functioning of employee and visitor services. He/she ensures administrative coordination related to access management, internal logistics, and employee support.
Main Responsibilities
Reception Management
- Open and manage the computer console each morning and ensure proper functioning.
- Welcome all visitors, register them in the console, notify hosts when needed.
- Issue temporary access cards to visitors or employees without badges, check identity if in doubt.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general information requests.
- Ensure cleanliness of reception areas, training rooms, restrooms, and locker rooms; coordinate with cleaning services.
Access Management and Control
- Program, activate, and deactivate access cards for employees, visitors, contractors, and VIPs via the console.
- Manage daily access badges, track returns, suspend unreturned cards.
- Manage emergency parking cards.
- Ensure security by monitoring compliance with access rules, especially for VIPs and business visitors.
Logistics and Employee Support
- Coordinate training rooms: check availability, cleanliness, setup, and closure; assist with preparation as needed.
- Manage keys for training rooms, storage, and specialized areas, ensuring their return.
- Coordinate delivery of small packages, envelopes, flowers, and food with strict access/reception procedures.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness with provided tools.
Reporting and Follow-up
- Prepare daily attendance reports, notify managers, and share information.
- Keep Excel files of access cards up to date (activations, deactivations, leaves).
- Manage weekend access programming and group/visitor pre-registrations.
Other Support
- Manage guest Wi-Fi (no password for smooth use).
- Provide basic office troubleshooting (tools, office supplies, umbrellas).
- Coordinate with security teams and report anomalies.
