Programs’ Coordinator – Casual
The Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta is a collaborative partner with community agencies/organizations in advocating on behalf of individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. We are a leader in delivering programs and services, educating and providing information on treatment and resources relating to cerebral palsy and other disabilities in the province of Alberta.
The Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta is seeking a casual Programs’ Coordinator. This position will work in collaboration with the Programs and Services team to report directly to the Director. Responsible for coordinating the Aqua Therapy Program for children.
Programs:
- Work with the Client Service Coordinator and Program Instructors/Therapist to create coordination processes and ensure smooth running of the program
- Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate under the direction of the director
- Assist clients to determine appropriate programs and refer to support services as needed
- Work with the Programs and Services team to assess the feasibility of programming in response to client needs
- Use Salesforce to capture all program reporting and activities
- Meet with the Director of Social Inclusion and Programs & Support Services to discuss issues, concerns, and progress of programs
- Track enrolment and retention
- Work with Instructors/Therapists and Volunteer Coordinator to provide guidance to volunteers involved in programs
- Communication with parents, volunteers, therapists and pool regarding any concerns, issues, changes etc.
- Implementation of activity policies to ensure safe participation of all participants
Administration:
· Submit program expense reports to the Director of Social Inclusion and Programs & Support Services when/ if needed
· Enter all client information in client/case management database (Salesforce), maintain/update information, and ensure information is easily accessible, current and relevant
· Manage all administrative tasks relating to the program
· Work with the Director of Social Inclusion and Programs & Support Services to secure and confirm venues if needed
Other
- Comply with CPAA policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Social Inclusion and Programs & Support Service or Senior Management
Qualifications:
· People oriented
· Experience with program coordination and asset
· Knowledge of and proficiency in use of word processing, database software, record keeping
· Ability to organize & prioritize work
· Advanced written and communications skills
· Knowledge of and proficiency in use of online communication and meeting platforms, including ZOOM, Teams, Google Meets
· Driver’s license and vehicle
· Ability to stay calm under pressure
