Salary: $47,829.00/year - $59,786.00/year

What qualifications are we looking for?
At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
Qualifications include:
· Knowledge and experience in the Esports and video gaming sector.
· Ability to communicate effectively and work productively with multiple departments.
· Familiar with gaming software systems such as Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Playstation, and PCs.
· Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
· Experience in staff/volunteer supervision and development.
· Embrace innovation and be willing to take initiative on new ideas.
· Skilled at working independently and within a team environment.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
· Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificated within the last 12 months from an approved AB OHS provider. Asset if certification is issued by one of the following five Canadian organizations: Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, St John's Ambulance and/or Canadian Ski Patrol.
· Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.
· Three professional references.
What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?
Responsibilities include:
· Execute marketing and promotions plan both internally and externally in cooperation with the communications and engagement team.
· Assess physical and virtual spaces and ensure all areas are adequate for program use launch and are well maintained.
· Maintain and manage all the virtual platforms ie), Discord, Minecraft, Challonge, Start.gg, Twitch and Nintendo online
· Organize online tournaments, in-person tournaments and registered programs.
· Create and update program curriculum and lesson plans for skill building programs and Day Camps.
· Proactively engage with youth and caregivers to solicit feedback.
· Manage a program and supply budget for each location.
· Recruit, develop, and oversee a team of staff and volunteers.
· Administrative duties including program statistics, participant communication, data entry, impact stories and reporting.
· Monitoring program through evaluations, benchmarks and KPIs.
· Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times.
· Maintain positive relationships with relevant stakeholders in Calgary communities.
· Other branch or association duties as required.
