JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Highlights
As both a strong team member and a proactive individual contributor who appreciates a varied work plan, the HR Analyst works with the HR Advisor – Health and Recovery Services and reports to the Manager of Health and Recovery Services to support the team’s strategic and operational objectives related to employee wellbeing.
Duties:
- Conducting research and analysis to support teams’ strategy and decision making related to health and wellbeing strategy and associated initiatives.
- Collating program utilization metrics and outcomes, supporting quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Support HR Advisor and Manager, Health and Recovery Services in identifying health issues and priorities through the analysis of health data.
- Responding to client inquiries related to all health and wellbeing programs, services, and requests. * Supporting integration of programming into all health and recovery services and process and other HR programs where appropriate.
- Builds and coordinates our internal champions (health and wellness representative network) including recruitment, onboarding, training, communication, generating feedback to inform programming and ensure support collaboration with other employee resource groups where appropriate.
- Liaises with all wellbeing providers (e.g. Lifeworks/EFAP, Lifespeak, etc.) to support communication plans, respond to client queries and coordinate various wellbeing campaigns and events.
- Develops communication materials, and tool kits to ensure awareness of programs, resources, and campaigns.
- Supports the production of virtual and in person training sessions as required (Health and Wellness Info Sessions, Manager training, etc.).
- Maintains and updates Hydroweb pages and Sharepoint sites.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business, Workplace Health Promotion or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Intermediate skills using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Strong client service orientation and able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Experience with web authoring and Sharepoint an asset.
- Experience with producing virtual training/info sessions an asset.
- Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
- A proven ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement.
- Ability to travel (infrequent) throughout BC including air travel.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, ability to drive and access to a motor vehicle.

Flexible work model role definitions
===========================
Our four role types identify the degree of flexibility an employee could have to work from home based on the type of work they do. The flexibility for an individual job is up to the manager for each position and the operational requirements. Employees also have the right to work full-time from the office if they prefer. All of our roles require at least some in-person time.
IBEW/Field – No option to work from home
Resident – Works primarily (4+ days per week) in the office.
Hybrid – May be able to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Remote – Works from home 4+ days per week
