Summary of responsibilities:
The Operator, Security Operations Centre (SOC) is responsible to receive, record and report all critical security incidents and information cases at CATSA designated airports and to disseminate such information to CATSA Management and key stakeholders. The Operator, Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator, SOCperforms all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Successful completion of a high school or college diploma.
- A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience working in a client service role in an operational environment or communications centre utilizing a central repository service, or as a dispatcher.
- Experience responding to emergency calls/situations.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with computers overall and various applications.

- Knowledge of the law or security field.

- Ability to work overtime as required;
- Ability to travel as required
- Language Profile: BBCC;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
