Summary of responsibilities:
The Senior Advisor, Operations Systems is responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of assigned projects, as well as supporting the ongoing management and maintenance of operational systems, (e.g. RAIC, NPS-V, Traffic Management (TMS), Time and Attendance (TAS), InfoNet, CCTV and the Security Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART)). The Senior Advisor, Operations Systems performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Graduation from a recognized university or college, with a specialization relevant to the duties of the position.
- Six (6) years of experience managing projects of different size, complexity and scope including experience in issues management and risk management of projects.
- Experience in a project leadership role providing advice and recommendations to various levels of management.
- Experience in contract and vendor management, including financial management.
- Experience communicating with business users and understanding/addressing business/project issues.
- Experience providing updates and recommendations to senior management and resolving conflict between project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of analytical tools, problem-solving and decision-making methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
