POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available
SALARY: $62,129 - $92,271 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair, Allied Health Sciences, Red River College Polytechnic requires an instructor to teach in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Program. Flexibility with instruction over various MLS disciplines is required. Duties will include lecturing, practical instruction, evaluation, interprofessional collaboration, supervision of students and participation in research initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- General Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from an accredited training program
- Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba
- Extensive and current clinical experience as a medical laboratory technologist
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Effective presentation skills with ability to present material to diverse groups with the use of appropriate technology
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to teach remotely and on campus.
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Active registration with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Current or previous experience teaching adult learners
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
