Instrumentation and Control Engineering
POSITION TYPE: Regular Full-Time position and Term Full-Time position available (anticipated until October 1, 2025)
SALARY: $62,129 - $92,271 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair, Electrical Engineering Technology, the Instructor is required to prepare course materials, labs and examinations, modify and develop curriculum and RPL modules, and instruct the approved curriculum.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent
- Significant industry experience in a field related to one of the engineering technologies described above
- Effective analytical skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Effective leadership skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook and other computer applications related to the industry
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation in the Province of Manitoba
- Recent experience teaching in an engineering technology program
- Hands on cabling/wiring experience
- Experience with National Instruments Labview and MultiSim software
- Experience with DeltaV software
- M-Class licence
- Experienced in curriculum and/or program development
- Experience related to electronic test & measurement equipment
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
