  • About: Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) is a registered non-profit organization that supports individuals with all disabilities in the province of Alberta, Canada. The CPAA is an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy.

Gateway Association:

  • About: In 1975, a group of passionate parents fought to open doors for their children. Gateway Association emerged as the “Gateway to a better life” they envisioned for people with disabilities and their families. Gateway is a Family Resource Centre (FRC) and an Employment Resource (ERC) Centre that provides education, family support, mentorship and inclusive employment. It is our mission to assist the community to understand disabilities.

Spectrum Advantage, a project of Autism Calgary:

  • About: Spectrum Advantage was created as a response to the need for employment experience for individuals with autism between the ages of 18 and 30. Spearheaded by Autism Calgary, and the generous funding of the Government of Canada as well as the Sinneave Family Foundation, this groundbreaking program, (the only one of it’s kind in Canada) opened it’s doors in May of 2014.

Centre for Autism Services Alberta:

  • About: Our mission is to provide comprehensive and innovative supports and services to those with autism, and their family network. Some of those supports include early childhood services; sports, leisure, social and skills programs; and pre-employment programs.

Society for Autism Support and Services:

  • About: Society for Autism Support and Services (SASS) is an Alberta-based registered charitable organization providing comprehensive educational and consulting services for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. SASS offers its services throughout Alberta and, other parts of the country, when requested.

Between Friends:

  • About: Between Friends is a pan-disability organization providing quality social, recreation and development opportunities to more than 80 different disability groups; of which, over 40% of are on the Autism Spectrum. Our programs & services are designed for children, youth, and adults based on age group & interests. Everyone is welcome to participate at Between Friends, regardless of ability, age, gender, race, gender identity, religion or culture.

Lacrossing Barriers:

  • About: We are a group dedicated to providing opportunities to play sport, move and learn skills to those in marginalized communities who haven't always been given a choice.

Ultimate Para Sports Association:

  • About: We are a non-profit organization, based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We provide a variety of recreational and competitive sport opportunities to para athletes, coaches and volunteers. Our mission is to facilitate sport opportunities from the developmental to the elite level of participation, in the areas of athletic competition, technical development, leadership, and integration.

Soccability Calgary:

  • About: Soccability Canada was federally incorporated as a Not For Profit in November 2020. A volunteer board oversees the governance, projects and planning of the organization. This is a passion project that keeps us busy outside of our paid jobs. Our objective is to grow accessible soccer programs by filling the gap where support and guidance for soccer organizations is often lacking. We actively seek out (and are open to) opportunities to collaborate with mutually beneficial goals.

Calgary Sledge Hockey Association:

  • About: Sledge Hockey is open to people of all ages and genders. Individuals who wish to play sledge hockey should be aware that it requires a fair amount of upper body strength and balance to move around on the ice. What is sledge hockey? Sledge hockey is a Paralympic sport played at all levels around the world. The game incorporates some additional technologies to allow for the greatest amount of participation.

  • About: IncluCity is a go-to partner for inclusive design and testing services. We understand that organizations often struggle to get genuine feedback, leading to less effective solutions. That's where we come in. At IncluCity, we're on a mission to make sure diverse voices are heard in creating digital solutions. With a strong community of nearly 600 testers and a successful history in various sectors, we're here to support design and testing needs.

Parent's Sruvival Resource & Connection Society:

  • About: Prevention before it Becomes an Emergency. PSRCS works to improve the well-being / mental health of individuals with disabilities and those who support them through Empowerment, Connection and Guidance. To equip each person with the necessary skills, resources and tailored help they need to thrive. To Offer Programs & Services that include: Tailored Assistance, Guidance & Mentorship, One to one connection, Meetups & Workshops, Event & Information Sessions, Provide advocacy between resource places & agencies.
