Have you ever wanted to be a part of the production process for the Stratford Festival? If so, we are currently looking to expand our call list of Light Walkers with people from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Walking and/or standing on stage during lighting cue sessions while the Lighting Designer builds lighting looks for each production. You will need to become familiar with the following theatrical terms: Stage Left, Stage Right, Upstage, Downstage, On Stage, and Off Stage.
- Wearing shades of clothing as specifically requested in advance by the Stage Management Office on behalf of the Lighting Designer
- Wearing comfortable, closed-toed, indoor shoes that will not scuff the stage
Qualifications:
- Lives in Stratford or the surrounding area; or can commute from a longer distance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Attentive listener and follows instructions
This part-time casual seasonalposition is located in Stratford, Ontario and successful candidates will be called as needed between March and August.
