FCC is at a critical juncture of our accessibility journey, and we’re looking for someone who is pragmatic, solutions-focused and provides clear, well-constructed solutions that will enhance our impact – someone who uses an analytical mindset to strategically achieve business goals while being an adaptable, reliable team player.
Using your strong understanding of the accessibility landscape, you’ll develop well-constructed initiative briefs and guides as well as support practice enhancements across multiple divisions, including IT, communications, procurement, facilities, client-facing teams and HR.
If you thrive on building relationships, engaging with diverse stakeholders and turning insights into actionable solutions, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll do
- Design, plan and implement FCC’s inclusion and accessibility initiatives
- Evaluate programs, activities and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Draft initiative briefs, proposals and learning resources to equip team members with tangible actions that support principles of inclusion, fairness and accessibility
- Develop and execute evidence-based project plans on time and on budget
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance ideas and practice enhancements
What you’ll bring to the team
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, administration or human resources
- Minimum three years of experience in accessibility, inclusion and/or equity
- Extensive knowledge of principles and key drivers for inclusion and accessibility
- Solid knowledge of accessibility standards, best practices and operationalizing practice enhancements
- Proven expertise in project planning, implementation and management
