The Program Support/Summer Student provides entry-level support to the Transportation Program. The role offers structured exposure to program operations, including transportation coordination, data tracking, and service delivery processes. Under close supervision, the incumbent supports day-to-day activities, contributes to assigned tasks, and assists with information gathering and coordination. This is a developmental role focused on learning, skill-building, and team contribution. In this role, you will: Support delivery of Transportation Program activities through clearly defined tasks Assist with scheduling coordination and service tracking activities Prepare materials such as summaries, trackers, templates, and presentations Collect, organize, and input transportation-related information in accordance with privacy standards Respond to routine inquiries and escalate as appropriate Participate in team meetings and support team initiatives Conduct basic research and information gathering Assist with coordination of meetings, program logistics, and service activities Follow established processes, systems, and tools What we are looking for: Completion of secondary school and/or enrollment in a post-secondary program Minimal work experience required; relevant volunteer or academic experience is an asset Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and receive feedback A full and valid G license is an asset. Working Conditions Duties are principally conducted in a shared office setting in a comfortable and friendly environment, located in Ancaster (Hamilton) Ontario. Hours of work are based on 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
