ABOUT THE TEAM
RRC Polytech’s Steinbach Campus serves the communities of Steinbach and the broader southeast region of Manitoba, offering a range of accessible, community focused programs and part time courses designed to support local learners and employers. Located in the heart of Steinbach, the campus provides training that reflects the needs of industry in the southeast. Our instructors bring strong professional experience and real world insight into the classroom, ensuring students gain practical, career ready skills. We offer flexible learning options that allow students to pursue the career path of their choice, as well as opportunities for professionals to upgrade their skills and expand their knowledge to advance in their field.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Student Records and Systems Support position provides service excellence to students and instructors, including information about the Steinbach Campus general and specific program/course details in a knowledgeable, professional manner. The individual will be responsible for compiling information, maintaining student records, assisting students with registration, admissions, and course selection processes, performing various clerical functions such as electronic record keeping using College systems Recruit and Colleague, filing, scanning, photocopying and preparation of correspondence.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Post secondary certificate in Business Administration or related field of study. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with the creation, maintenance and analysis of customer records and reporting tools
- Experience in systems testing, including identifying errors, considering ideas and alternatives
- Experience in researching and resolving incorrect customer records and financial information
- Extensive experience in front-line customer service
- Experience receiving payments and reconciling at end of day
- Experience with various computer applications such as Microsoft Office and/or on-line systems
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
NICE TO HAVE
- Ability to use AI tools to support operations
- Extensive experience with RRC Polytech’s Student Information Systems (Colleague and Recruit)
- Extensive experience working with organizational software – Catalogue Maintenance, RRC Reporting, LEARN
- Prior experience working in a post-secondary setting

- Salary Range for this position: $49,595 - $69,838 per annum
- Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
- December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
