We are currently hiring a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Digital Engagement team based at our Head Office in Burnaby.
In this role, you will help build a data-driven, customer-obsessed culture by turning complex data into meaningful insights, improving campaign targeting and measurement, and supporting the tools and data that power BCAA’s marketing programs. You will work closely with Marketing, Information Services, ProductManagementand Customer Experience to develop dashboards, segmentation, automated customerjourneysand predictive models that improve marketing performance and customer experiences.

Whatyou’lldo:
- Perform descriptive analysis by extracting,exploringand analyzing data from multiple sources, thendevelopsummaries,visualizationsand reports thatprovideuseful business insights.
- Create andmaintaindashboards, define metrics with business partners, visualize key performanceindicatorsand support data quality for effective decision-making.
- Help develop BCAA’s marketing analytics strategy and support projects where marketing data and analytics enable or directly drive business outcomes.
- Build campaign audiences and segmentation, develop SQL campaign queries, create campaign flowchartsand support deployment lists.
- Design and automate customer communication journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
- Develop and apply testing approaches for target groups, offers and creative, then translate results into recommendations that support a test-and-learn culture.
- Build, implement andmaintainpredictive models toidentifycustomer targets, next-best-product opportunities, multi-productpurchasersand lifetime value.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, enable commercial marketing and sales programs, and enhance customer experiences.
- Work with Information Services and Data Engineering to improve the flow,accessibilityand use of marketing data across Amazon Redshift, Salesforce MarketingCloudand Financial Services Cloud.
- Support website analytics and trackingstrategy, andhelp implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud data enablement.
- Streamline and automate analytics processes, writing high-quality code that is clear,documentedand repeatable.
- Follow privacy and customer contact standards for data use and file transfers, and document data sources,analysesand algorithms.
What you bring:
- A post-secondary degree in data science, marketing analytics, commerce, statistics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Approximately five years of relevant experience, including experience in marketing automation, business intelligence, customerinsightsor applied customer experience analytics.
- Hands-on experience querying complex relational databases using SQL.
- Experience creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI orTableau, andworking with data in a Microsoft Fabric or comparable analytics environment.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or another campaign management platform, including audience segmentation and customer journey orchestration.
- Experience with Google Analytics and/or working knowledge of GA4.
- Proficiencywith statistical tools or languages such as R or Python, including experience with techniques such as regression, decision trees, segmentation,clusteringor classification.
- Experience managing large,complexor multi-source data sets with strong attention to quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of database modelling, data structures, datawranglingand data pipeline concepts such as APIs, ETL,FTPand workflow orchestration.
- Strong project management,analytical,communicationand interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift, Salesforce CRM, Financial Services Cloud, digital mediametricsor audience management tools is an asset.
- Experience in financial services is an asset.
The salary range for this position is $91,185.84 to $113,982.36 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, marketdemandand internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
