Salary Range: $56,096.00/yr - $70,120.00/yr

What qualifications are we looking for?
We strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following:
· Have an understanding of YMCA Calgary’s mission, vision and values;
· The ability to work within a professional, yet relationship-based and service-oriented approach;
· Skills to engage with stakeholders of the Rocky Ridge YMCA facility, community partners, the business community and rental groups;
· Post-Secondary degree in a business or health-related discipline;
· 3-5 years’ experience and demonstrated success in leadership and management positions;
· Well respected and able to establish credibility with internal stakeholders and external partners;
· Ability to develop and deliver systems, and integrate knowledge of YMCA Calgary programs and services in determining how to measure impact;
· Strong financial management and human resources management;
· Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills with strong organizational skills;
· Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificated within the last 12 months from an approved AB OHS provider. Asset if certification is issued by one of the following five Canadian organizations: Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, St John's Ambulance and/or Canadian Ski Patrol.
· Evidence of a clear Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search;
· Three professional references required.
What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?
Duties and responsibilities include:
· Lead and develop business systems and strategies that are aligned with the organizations mission, vision, and values while meeting the needs of customers and the surrounding community;
· Oversee the facility bookings department including the implementation of all rental contracts, user and booking agreements, and lease holders;
· Implement best practice policies and procedures for facility rentals and maximize space utilization throughout the entire facility;
· Work in conjunction with the YMCA Calgary Marketing and Communications department to create strategies, implement opportunities and take a lead on sales and marketing relative to facility bookings at the Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton;
· Take a leadership role with all Special Events including but not limited to internal YMCA events, tournaments, etc.;
· Participate in Leadership Management, Health and Safety teams and Shared leadership initiatives;
· Build an engaged and responsive staff and volunteer team focusing on key annual area and Association objectives;
· Liaise and develop positive relationships with external organizations and community members to ensure that the branch is well established and grounded as a valuable community organization within Seton;
· Ensure excellent member service by identifying and responding to the needs of all users, members and partners through YMCA Calgary’s evaluation approach;
· Implement and provide leadership with YMCA Calgary’s Health and Safety Management systems to the Business Department.
