ABOUT THE TEAM
Non-Academic: Ancillary Services
The Ancillary Services Campus Store & Print Shoppe supports RRC Poly and campus community by providing essential retail and professional printing services to students, faculty, and staff. Our team delivers reliable service, high‑quality products, and operational support in a collaborative and service‑focused environment. The Campus Store supplies course materials, academic resources, campus merchandise, and everyday essentials, while the Print Shoppe delivers reliable printing and finishing services for instructional, operational, and promotional needs across the institution. Our work directly supports teaching, learning, and campus engagement. We are committed to professionalism, inclusivity, and continuous improvement while contributing to a rewarding campus experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Ancillary Service Operational Support will provide general operational support for the Campus Store and/or Print Shoppe locations which includes , but not limited to processing of Point of Sale (POS) transactions, front line customer service support, inventory year end counting, stock replenishment, Account Receivables transactions (sponsorship), locker maintenance, processing print account transactions, processing print request forms, print production operation and finishing, and wide area format printing with training and supervision provided.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- High School Diploma, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience in a customer service focused retail or college setting
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with limited supervision
- Ability to manage tasks and effectively meet deadlines
- Strong technical competencies, with both hardware and software applications
- Experience with a Bookstore or Retail Point of Sale System
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
NICE TO HAVE
- Ability to effectively communicate in another language other than English
- Demonstrated experience in a post-secondary institution retail operation
- Demonstrated experience with bookstore operating applications

- Salary Range for this position: $39,754 - $56,040 per annum
- Generous Paid Vacation: Full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
- December Break: Employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
