Salary Range: $73,850 to $92,313 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits, where applicable)
Hiring Rage: $73,850 - $83,081 per annum

Who we are: Peel Housing Corporation provides safe, well maintained living environments for tenants in Peel Living and Region of Peel owned properties including: 71 residential properties, two transitional housing residences and three emergency shelters. These services contribute to a positive experience for residents and enhance neighbourhoods where the buildings are located.
In this role you will deliver reliable, timely, and professional support to a range of diverse projects in order to facilitate the successful completion of initiatives designed to achieve key program and community outcomes. You will work efficiently across a variety of concurrent projects to ensure that teams are enabled with the tools, information and practices that allow them to focus on the successful delivery of projects.
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for a range of program project activities
- Assists the Project Manager in developing project requirements including the project charter, project execution plans, work breakdown structure, budgets, schedule, risk logs, lessons learned, etc. while complying with applicable standards
- Assists with inspection duties including construction monitoring, vendor oversight, communication of site issues and safety concerns
- Adapts current project management tools, templates and procedures or develop new ones as needed to support project planning, implementation, monitoring and close out
- In collaboration with the Project Manager, acts as a liaison between internal and external project stakeholders to ensure effective and timely communications
- Attends site meetings to support the Project Manager in the delivery of projects
- Seek direction and decisions, in a timely manner, on any issues that impedes the completion of the deliverables within the project schedule and budget
- Gathers and document stakeholder feedback and changes to project materials and deliverables
- Supports change management activities for projects
- Regularly prepares and updates project status reports, identifies and escalates early warning signs and deviations from the plan and proposes recommendations and adjustments to the Project Manager
- Maintains project electronic documentation repositories in accordance with Regional document control standards
- Assists external vendors to ensure project activities are carried out, project materials are received and payments are carried out
- Prepares and participates in project meetings, produces meeting minutes and follow up with the relevant individuals for action items or issues
- Conducting detailed research and analysis to support the creation of project deliverables
- Provide project support on contract document or design reviews
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, completes small scope projects and leads the implementation of specific work packages and deliverables
- Assist with liaising with tenants, in collaboration with other stakeholders, to support project objectives
- Frequent travel between locations while working on concurrent projects
What the role requires:
- Degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, construction or related fields with at least 3 years of job related experience working in a project management environment or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience
- Highly motivated, capable of learning new project management skills and responsibilities
- Ability to travel and access to reliable transportation
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work in a high pressure team environments with strict deadlines, effectively managing multiple project priorities, demands and timelines
- Ability to take on and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with all clients and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, including during challenging situations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills, critical thinker with the ability to recognize the full scope and effect of actions
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams

In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario.
