Leverage yourexpertisein community investment,food securityandfoodloss and waste(FLW), and national program delivery tocreateFCC’sDrive Away Hungerstrategy andlead theinitiative across Canada.
As a Community Investment Specialist,you’llleadanational food securityand FLWinitiative, act as a subject matter expert on food security and foodrescue,andbuild strong partnerships with internalstakeholdersand external organizations to maximize community impact. Your strong relationship-building and project management skills will enable you to guide strategy, deliver complexinitiativesand continuously improve program outcomes.

Whatyou’lldo
- Lead theevolution andexecution of the national Drive Away Hunger initiative and contribute to broader Community Investment strategies
- Build and manage partnerships related to food security andFLWacrosstheCanadianag and foodand food security charity sectors
- Identifyemerging trends,gapsand opportunities in food securityand FLWto inform strategy and initiatives
- Oversee and report on food securityand FLWinitiatives, successmeasuresand outcomes
- Provide informal leadership, coachingand training to Community Investment team members
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support organizational goals
Whatyou’llbring to the team
Required qualifications:
- A degree inmarketing;environmental, social and governance (ESG);publicrelations, orcommunications
- At leastfiveyears of experience in community investment, ESGor a related field
- Extensive knowledge and experience in community investment programs and practices
- Provenexpertisein food security and foodloss and wasteinitiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, national initiatives and manage projects
- Advancedproficiencyin both official languages (English and French)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with ESG,industryrelations, Indigenousrelations,communications,brand,mediaandoperations
- Experience ingovernment, a CrownCorporationor a corporate environment
- Knowledge ofthe ag and food industry
- Knowledge ofESG trends related tofood securityand food loss and waste
