Summary of responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Operational Innovation and Integration, the General Manager, Operational Integration is responsible for national coordination initiatives involving the operational integration of technology, systems and associated processes deployed in support of delivering effective, efficient and consistent screening operations in Canada. They are also responsible for the strategic development and on-going operations of CATSA’s Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) Program, the Non-Passenger Screening-Vehicle (NPSV) Traffic Management System (TMS), the Service Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART) and Infonet. The General Manager, Operational Integration is also responsible for the development and management of business continuity plans to ensure the stability of the screening system when technologies are degraded or enter into contingency. The General Manager, Operational Integration ensures advisory services and support to business owners of the following operations systems: Time and Attendance System (TAS), Enterprise Case Management Solution (ECM) and Closed-circuit television (CCTV). As well, they are responsible to ensure that strong and productive relationships are developed and maintained with internal (regional and headquarters-based) and external (Airport Authorities, Transport Canada) stakeholders across Canada. The General Manager, Operational Integration performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Successful completion of a university degree in administration, logistics, industrial engineering, law or social science or some other specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in areas such as logistics and transport, security, or other highly regulated business environments.
- Minimum five (5) plus years of managerial experience in a related working environment.
- Successful experience in planning and organizing a multitude of complex projects in a detail-oriented work environment.
- Experience in crisis response, business continuity and contingency plans; and
- Experience providing advisory services and recommendations to senior management.

Specific work requirements
- Language Profile: CBCC;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
