Number of Positions: 1
Term: May 4th, 2026 to August 28th, 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Ottawa, HQ (Hybrid)
Salary: $18.15 to $30.20/hourly rate dependent on level of education
Language Requirement: English Essential

Summary of responsibilities:
·Perform research, develop briefing materials, documents and presentations on various subject matters related to screening effectiveness;
·Update and maintain existing job aids, methodologies, training materials and procedural documentation related to the various programs;
·Assist the Screening Effectiveness Team in the planning, development, and technical delivery of testing and performance related activities;
·Develop and organize information repositories for various programs and initiatives;
·Assist in the organization and classification of image libraries;
·Perform data downloads;
·Convert X-Ray images and develop catalogues;

What you need to succeed:
To qualify for the position, you must have:
·Enrolled in a college or university degree in Security, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Economics or a related field relevant to the duties of the position.
Skills and Abilities:
·Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
·Ability to respond quickly to requests, and be capable of reprioritizing initiatives;
·Ability to think strategically and provide solutions to problems; and
·Ability to learn new software and conceptualize new information.
To qualify and to be considered for this employment, you must:
·Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
·Be eligible to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance;
·Be a full-time or part-time CEGEP, College or University student; and
·Be returning to full-time or part-time studies in the next academic year.
