Position Summary
The Marketing Research Support will support Autism Alliance of Canada’s fundraising efforts in an 8-week Canada Summer Jobs placement. In this role, you will help develop a strong prospect pipeline to advance key programs and initiatives, including the 2027 Canadian Autism Leadership Summit (CALS2027).

Your administrative support ensures the smooth functioning of working groups and committees, contributing to the overall success of Autism Alliance of Canada’s initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Sponsorship Development:
- Assist in identifying potential corporate sponsors, partnership prospects, and foundations that could provide funding for the Alliance.
- Establish partnership criteria to support the evaluation, and qualification of prospects
- Develop a robust prospect pipeline with detailed information and contact details
- Collaborate with the Partnership and Community Engagement Manager to create compelling outreach materials.
- Maintain a database of fundraising contacts, track progress, and follow up on leads.
Grant Research and Applications:
- Research funding opportunities, including grants and corporate partnerships, that align with the Alliance’s mission and objectives.
- Support the preparation of grant applications and related documentation.
Event Fundraising Support:
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising strategies for CALS 2027.
- Help coordinate sponsor recognition activities and ensure deliverables are met as part of sponsorship agreements.
Skills Development:
- Gain experience in fundraising, sponsorship outreach, and event support within a nonprofit environment.
- Develop communication and organizational skills while contributing to meaningful initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or interest in fundraising and sponsorship outreach.
- Organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising practices is an asset.
